Refractory cement is also called aluminate cement. The raw material of aluminate cement is made of bauxite and limestone. Characteristics and applications of refractory cement:
1. The degree of refractoriness is not much different from that of the same quality refractory item. However, since the refractory cement is not sintered, it shrinks greatly during the initial smelting, so the load softening point is slightly lower than that of the refractory item. Despite this, the overall performance is better than that of refractory items.

2. Refractory cement is superior to the low-temperature cementing agent, and the constant temperature and pressure resistance is high. At the same time, due to the good mass of the masonry, the airtightness of the blast furnace is good, and it is not easy to shape. The steel of the furnace shell at the door can be taken off, and the function of the blast furnace against the machine shock and impact is better than that of the brick masonry. For example, the head of the side wall used for the soaking furnace, where the machine wears and bumps are quite powerful, and the furnace age is several times higher than that of the brick.

3. The thermal stability is good. The thermal stability of refractory cement is good. The aggregate is almost all clinker. The expansion and the shrinkage of the cement are low. Therefore, the thermal expansion of the masonry is smaller than that of the brick, the temperature stress is relatively small, and the structure is also various. Reticulated, needle-like, chain-like crystalline phase, strong resistance to air temperature, for example, used to cast soaking furnace mouth and furnace cover, the furnace age can be extended to one and a half years; and the fire resistance of refractory items and the same The texture of the refractory item is similar, but because the refractory cement does not have a net more sintering, the initial blasting shrinks larger, so the load softening point is slightly lower than the refractory item, but as a whole, the refractory cement is still due to the refractory item.
